Cute Cat Monday: Toco the Cat and His Baby Humans

I know I am the world’s biggest cliche for this, but I legitimately hate Mondays. I hate the sound of the alarm, I hate having to drag my ass out of my squishy bed at the crack of dawn, and I hate being jostled by bluetooth-headset-wearing assholes and crazies on the subway (hello, NYC).

But something that always makes me feel better is heartwarming stories and pictures of animals. It’s just about the only thing that will bring a smile to my heart (not my face, my face doesn’t smile until coffee #3) on a Monday morning.

So, I hereby decree every Monday from henceforth to be: Cute Cat Monday. (Super imaginative name, I know.) It’s gonna get its own category on the site and everything. Excite-amundo!

Also, did you know that looking at pictures of cute animals actually boosts your focus and increases productivity? Pretty cool, right? So if your boss walks by, tell him you’re doing brain exercises and to f%$k off.

Anyway, let’s kick this series off strong!

Up first, we have Toco—a male brown tabby from Japan. He grew up alongside his owner’s little daughter, pictured here:

Here they are turning 1 together.

Then, baby number 2 was born. And for Toco, it was love at first sight all over again.

But never fear—sister hasn’t been forgotten!
